"Paramore Loses Two Founding Band Members"

Paramore have announced that guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro, two founding members of the band, have left the group. However, the decision didn't come as a surprise for Hayley Williams and the rest of the band.

"A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday," Paramore wrote on their website. "None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere."
Fans need not worry about the future of the group. In a tweet on Sunday, Hayley wrote: "Paramore is (still) a band." Then on Tuesday she confirmed the news by adding, "Unfortunately, they both did leave. I know it's getting hard to keep up with all the rumors. The Internet is a scary place."

According to their post, the remaining three members are committed to making music and are looking forward to seeing their fans on tour next year: "We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together. You have always been what keeps us going so why would we stop now? We want to stick by you."

What do you think of the departure of the Farro brothers? Are you bummed? Do you think Paramore will be just as good, if not better, without them? Or are you worried that their sound might change? Let us know what you think in the comments.
